Anna Schlueter was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, IL, where she began her formal dance training at Northwest Ballet Academy during high school. Anna graduated from Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 2020 Cum Laude with a BFA in Contemporary Dance. Anna has performed choreography by Mark Morris, Kate Weare, Alice Klock, Robyn Mineko Williams, Zoe Scofield, and Levi Marsman among others. In 2019, Anna attended Springboard Danse Montréal, where she performed new works by Fernando Melo and Part+Labour_Danse. She has also attended programs with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Alonzo King Lines Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Peridance Capezio Center, UNA Productions, and SpringboardX. In 2022, Anna performed as an Emerging Artist with Joshua Beamish/MOVETHECOMPANY at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre in New York, NY. Anna is currently based in Brooklyn, NY working as a freelance artist and eagerly awaits to see what the next steps in her artistic career will look like. She is excited for more collaborations with filmmakers, photographers, choreographers, musicians, and beyond.
